06 May WHAT VITAMINS DO YOU TAKE?
Dear Vitamin-Takers or Vitamin-Avoiders,
Do you know what vitamins resonate with you? When you walk down the vitamin aisle, are you overwhelmed? Fat soluble, water soluble, FDA guidelines… what?! Some people don’t do well with vitamins unless they are taken at a certain times of the day. Some people upchuck their vitamins, especially the fish oils.
So, do you avoid vitamins or do you try different vitamins?
I have a confession to make. When I walk down the vitamin aisle or enter an integrative pharmacy or roam a health and wellness store, I light up like a Christmas tree. I am no different than a kid on the candy aisle. I get lit up on vitamins. I’ve tried many different types. But I always wondered if I peed them out? Do I waste money on them? Am I taking the right ones for my body?
Well, my husband, Pierre, discovered a vitamin line called IDLife. He even became a distributor because he believes in the product. Basically, you take a questionnaire and vitamins are customized according to your profile, needs, and goals. Pierre was on them for six months. My favorite product from IDLife is Hydrate. It’s a blend of electrolytes, antioxidants, minerals, and vitamins. Pierre gave me a pack, and I felt amazing. I take it in the morning with my liquid vitamin D and alkaline water in the late afternoon. When it’s time for another cup of coffee, I take Hydrate again. I don’t drink coffee because my digestion system doesn’t like it. I do miss the smooth taste of Lavazza. But Hydrate works like a gem.
