MEDITATION BLISS

Dear Meditation Readers,

Do you enjoy meditation? I started meditating three years ago. I was interested in gaining inner peace and quieting my mind. When I first mediated, I would sit inside or outside and let my soul teach me what it wants to teach me. I went back in childhood trauma and released a lot of energy. It’s as if things needed to go to create space for something more. It was my expansive period.

You can use a guided mediation from YouTube which helped me at first. I listen to certain ones on YouTube or Abraham-Hicks meditations. You can use a mantra when you meditate. Some people like it; others find it distracting. Some people like an exact time and place to meditate. You have to find what works for you.

Sometimes I sit outside and mediate with my stones. Sometimes I release all my muscles and sit for 20 minutes inviting the light into my crown charka. I use the Insight Timer app which is great. When the meditation ends, you have a nice bell sound and you get to see how many people around the world that you meditated with which is pretty cool.

And when I listen, I invite a calmness, a flow, a rhythm into my Being. I experience well-being due to the health benefits of meditation. I also experience wide gaps of silence throughout the day. My mind chatter is not on that runaway train, in the same deep hole, in the same loop. I also receive during meditation. Since I am emptying, I am also opening. And with that comes some divine inspiration, insights. It’s as if you are entering another dimension. It feels amazing because you have been here before.

I meditated last week and the number 7 and the animal totem buffalo appeared. During the day, I am not thinking about buffalo and 7. But during meditation, it comes to me. It’s as if signs and symbols appear into your consciousness. Messages for you. Paths to follow. Doors to open. And If you are curious what buffalo means, according to Ted Andrews in Animal-Speaks Pocket Guide it symbolizes abundance. According to Doreen Virtue in Angel Numbers 101, 7 means “You’re on the right path, and the outcome will exceed your expectations! The number 7 is a sign that Divine magic is supporting you and opening doors of opportunity.”

“The thing about meditation is: You become more and more you.” ~ David Lynch

Meditating lover,
Jennifer
