Dear Kissing Readers,

We headed out of town for the Thanksgiving holidays. I was drawn to a bookstore, and I found out why. I picked up Return to Love by Marianne Williamson. When I opened it, I could not put it down. I resonated with every word. As a writer, I underline books and takes notes in the margins. This book was covered in red ink. And I wrote, “Thanksgiving 2014 ~ Carnival Cruise to Catalina Island and Ensenada, Mexico.”

I’ve been on a healing path to set my heart and soul free, and to end needless suffering. I opened up A Course in Miracles on October 2013. I penned in the book: “Awakening Process October 2013 to October 2015.” I reference my books that are part of my healing journey. A Course in Miracles revealed the healing of the mind, recognizing the ego and spirit, changing our perceptions, and experiencing a miracle through the emotions of love versus loveless or fear.

Marianne Williamson’s book ushered in clarity and understanding on A Course in Miracles. A Course in Miracles was like reading the Bible. Return to Love was the explanation in layman’s terms. I was enamored with Marianne’s writing style and healing of neurotic patterns. Oh yeah. I recognized it because that was me!

January 2015, I started writing my own book, Life Storms: Hurricane Katrina. Spirit was leading me, guiding me, awakening to break every chain that no longer served me.

On Monday, I drove to Los Angeles to hear Marianne speak. A powerhouse indeed! What was sweet is Gabriel and Pierre came with me.

After her presentation, I approached her. I shared, “Your book has taken me on a trajectory of writing my own book.” She autographed Return to Love.

Pierre took a picture of us. I gave her a copy of my own book. I elaborated, “It’s about losing everything in Hurricane Katrina. It’s about weathering the storms in life and how we respond to them. It is told from a survivor point of view and how anybody weathers storms in their life. It is to create awareness of my son’s rare condition, Giant Pigmented Nevus.” She was kind, warm-hearted, and empathetic. Marianne looked at Gabriel and said, “Bless you. Bless you.” Gabriel smiled, waved, and nodded. She then looked at me and said, “I will read it. Just give me some time.” And then I kissed her. Not awkwardly. It was the spirit leading me.

I asked, “Gabriel, what did you think?” Gabriel replied, “I liked it. It was really a nice experience. She reminds me of your good friend, Murry. The law of attraction works. God is at work mom.”

Pierre suggested, “You didn’t want to ask her to write the foreword in your book?” I sensed it wasn’t necessary. Ego would say, “Ask. Do more.” Spirit encouraged, “Relax.” Words don’t need to be exchanged. Spirits resonating is enough in each moment.

We left in a peaceful place. Spirits were connecting with spirit. There was a meeting of the minds and meeting of the heart because we led by spirit.

I received a healing that night. Pierre received a healing that night. Gabriel received a healing that night.

I reference her book constantly. I have her quote on my computer to remind me who I am. Today is another reminder of who You Are

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates people.” ~ Marianne Williamson

May you be liberated!

Kissing Always with Love in My Heart,
