Dear Mantra Readers,
My mantra for the day was “Go Fix Jennifer.” It was a chant that played in my head. Do more. Figure it out. But this mantra left me depleted and exhausted.
The simple truth… There is nothing to fix. There is nothing broken. Breathe that in because it’s powerful. It’s a shift from fixing to finding. I had to find myself… my authentic self… my voice… my heart… my soul. I was lost in my thoughts. My head was leading me not to lie down in green pastures but to live in survival mode. A fight or flight state of mind… a fight or flight state of being. Dangerous indeed.
There is nothing to fix. There is only the journey of finding yourself, discovering who you are, and exploring the deep chambers of your heart and soul.
What I realized is there really is no self-improvement. You are not a project to fix. You are not a project to endure. You are not a to-do list item to check off. You are not broken. You are whole. You are perfect. You are powerful beyond measure.
What I found was my self-worth… self-love… self-care… self-awareness… self-validation… self-forgiveness… self-compassion… self-empowerment. I’m changing the definition of SELF-IMPROVEMENT to SELF-EMPOWERMENT. The connotation is slight, gentler, and powerful. I’ve been on a self-empowering journey. I have abandoned myself for too long.
You are the one you have been waiting for. You discover one of the most important relationships… a relationship with yourself! It’s a powerful relationship that God waits patiently for us to discover. He equips. He sustains. He protects. He is your shield and your comforter. The more we get empowered, the more the divine qualities manifest. The more we can hear the voice of God. The more we can see his heart… his vision… his healing… his clarity.
The Hope Elders Speak…
You have been telling the people that this is the Eleventh Hour.
Now you must go back and tell the people that this is The Hour.
And there are things to be considered:
Where are you living?
What are you doing?
What are your relationships?
Are you in right relation?
Where is your water?
Know your garden.
It is time to speak your Truth.
Create your community. Be good to each other.
And do not look outside yourself for the leader.
This could be a good time!
There is a river flowing now very fast. It is so great and swift that there are those who will be afraid. They will try to hold on to the shore. They will feel they are being torn apart, and they will suffer greatly.
Know the river has its destination. The elders say we must let go of the shore, push off into the middle of the river, keep our eyes open, and our heads above the water. See who is in there with you and celebrate.
At this time in history, we are to take nothing personally. Least of all, ourselves. For the moment that we do, our spiritual growth and journey comes to a halt.
The time of the lone wolf is over. Gather yourselves!
Banish the word struggle from your attitude and your vocabulary.
All that we do now must be done in a sacred manner and in celebration.
We are the ones we’ve been waiting for.
