17 May BORA BORA BLISS
Dear Blissful Readers,
Best Mother’s Day Surprise…
Pierre, shared, “I got a surprise for you. I know you are in the Lisa Nichols Speak and Write conference. I’ll wait to tell you Sunday night when the conference is over.” I pondered. Then I questioned, “Are you planning a trip? Are we flying to Australia?” Pierre shared, “The boys know. But I can’t tell you.”
Sunday night appeared…
Pierre eagerly awaited. He positioned, “Are you ready?” I opened the door and found two Fiji water bottles and my passport. I jumped for joy! Pierre elaborated, “You are leaving Wednesday. I’ll meet you there. Then, we are flying to Australia. And your friend, Jayne, is watching the boys. All you need to do is pack your bags.”
Wow! Wow! Wow!
Later, I elaborated, “What did you think when I mentioned Australia the night before?” Pierre expressed, “I can’t surprise you.” And I shared, “No, I am just tuned in.”
Two hurricanes visited Fiji. And I’ve had my taste of Hurricane Katrina. Plan A was Fiji and Australia. Plan B shifted to Bora Bora and Australia.
I woke up in Bora Bora with a view of the Pacific Ocean in the Southern Hemisphere of the world. The ocean was my pool. A ladder extended from our deck in the ocean. Pierre dipped his feet in the blue bliss. It’s magical.
I treated myself to a Polynesian show and a Tahiti beer. Now the funny thing is I’m not a beer drinker. The last time I had a beer I was in Monte Carlo with my grandma, mom, and aunt seven years ago. I even included the picture of my grandma drinking the Monaco beer in my book, “Life Storms: Hurricane Katrina.” Last night, I stopped, treated myself to a Tahiti beer before the show and celebrated my grandma.
The spa experience was priceless!
Words to describe Bora Bora…
My sensitivity was beautifully heightened.
My guidance was gently attuned.
My heart was aligned, compassionate, and grateful.
I experienced peace that all is well with my soul.
I’ve written “Life Storms.” Now, I’m ready to write “Life Miracles.” Thank you, God. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Pierre. Thank you, Jayne, for a wonderful Mother’s Day gift. It was the best surprise ever.
I can’t wait to return. Australia, here I come.
